Welcome to Josie's Place for Bereaved Youth and Families !

Josie’s Place provides facilitated peer-support groups to children and teens in the San Francisco Bay Area who are grieving the death of a parent, sibling, close relative or friend.

Our groups offer a safe environment for the expression of feelings and thoughts about the death of a loved one.

Trained facilitators assist participants in the healing process.

Our open-ended support groups meet on the first and third Wednesday evenings of the month from 6:30 - 8:15 PM in the Sunset District in San Francisco.  Additionally, we offer time-limited school-based support groups.
